T32 Funded Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program in Obesity Research (T32 DK07559-28)

A post-doctoral fellowship program is available at the National Institutes of Health-funded NYORC at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. These positions entail working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary group of scientists. The NYONRC studies virtually all aspects of obesity ranging from molecular biology to epidemiology. Investigators include molecular biologists, physicians, psychologists, statisticians, physiologists, nutritionists, and engineers. The goal of this program is to train scientists to be independent investigators in obesity research.

Individuals with an advanced doctoral degree (M.D., Ph.D., or other) are eligible. Women and individuals from traditionally disadvantaged groups are encouraged to apply. Funding is through a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Post-Doctoral Training Grant (T32 DK07559). Accordingly, applicants must meet qualifications as per NRSA requirements to be eligible including US citizenship and/or US permanent resident.
